BBC TV Online!
As far as I’m concerned, the BBC just keeps on earning that license fee. No mention of a date yet but they’re planning to both stream BBC 1 and 2 and offer shows for download. Brilliant to see.

Wonder how long the shows will remain online if that would be an issue. Re-runs would essentially be dead on TV with this one.

Ooh. I’ll have to check if it works outside the UK… That would be ace!

BBC online have been setting up arrangements with UK isps to ensure they only give access to this kind of content to people in the uk. You just want free stuff licence payers are paying for :p

Damn. I paid my license when I was there, but I didn’t get my money’s worth!

Yeah, the way the bbc work online is a pain sometimes. I think as their news service is so popular they are concerned that broadband services worldwide as well would be throwing away licence payers money.
These developments prove that the beeb are trying to keep up with new trends, rather than stop filesharing they seem to prefer to offer the files to users in the uk for free.
Somehow I doubt we will be seeing the Fox network doing that.
