We in the UK miss out on three extra games the US gets at launch - Ridge Racer 6, NHL 2K6 and NBA 2K6, so nothing overly upsetting for most. Fifteen is a pretty hefty number of games at launch if you ask me.

I was lucky enough to play a bunch of 360 games at i26 recently. The PGR 3 motion blur is butter smooth and it’s just a lot of fun as per usual, very nicely presented. If it is running at 1024×600 I really couldn’t tell. Perfect Dark Zero displayed some superb animation but I thought the controls felt horrid and the gameplay deeply generic.

Kameo, also from Rare, was utterly gorgeous (possibly the best looking of the lot) and a lot of fun. Instead of just relying on shader effects the model detail and artwork is fabulous. I saw nothing to change my opinion that the Activision launch games (THAW, COD2, GUN) are all quick ports, which is a real shame. Dead or Alive 4… same old game with some extra detail and characters, but then why fix what ain’t broke.
