To be fair, it’s not like this is anything new, right? The PA strip is talking about EA, which is another offender in this category, a category that is sadly getting pretty crowded.

Sony very rarely even says they’re target renders though. It’s nothing new but in each generation they have hyped the graphics on their consoles way beyond the final reality which just annoys me.

This is something that everyone do. Microsoft isn’t any better at it, neither is any of the other publishers around the world.
Sony do make good consoles and games though.

Warhawk is a game which is not based on graphics at all. The game is made for pure gamingfun, and it is a great game to play. That this is a fully multiplayer based game, is genious. I Love this game, and it is my best ps3 game so far, no matter what the graphics looks like. For a game on only 700mb, the graphics are fine. There are beautiful colors and the textures are fine. The only thing is that the game is not that detailed as many would have expected. But still, this is a multiplayer game, and is made not to look good, but to be fun to play! It simply rocks!

Btw; I think the final game is WAY better looking than the cartoon-like screenshot on the top. So nothing to complain about any differences, the first screenshot is more like a teaser for the idea of the game, not how it would actually look.

yeah i played the game yesterday and probaly best thing i played yet. Alot better than Halo cause of the PS3 free wireless system. Which makes this game so much fun.

has anyone pointe dout the fact that they are CONSTENTLY releasing ad ons and that may one day be the final product?
pretty untrustworthy.. but then again you did the game a whole lot of justice with that 2nd screan shot
